Alhaji Muhammad B. Nura is a Nigerian politician and journalist.

Early life[edit]

Muhammad B Nura was born in Surokusko village, Tarmuwa local government, Yobe State.

Education[edit]

Nura started pursuing his education at Surokusko Primary School Tarmuwa Local Government Yobe State, and later Damaturu Teacher's College. He proceeded to Bayero University Kano, where he obtained his first degree for a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literary studies and his second degree as a Master of Public Administration at University of Maiduguri. Career[edit]

Nura started his career in a civil service as an information officer in the then former Borno State. He was also an information officer after the creation of Yobe State. He was then posted to Yobe State Television Authority (YTB) as a news reporter, editor and controller of current affairs. Later became Director information Yobe State House of Assembly, Director hotels board Director special duties ministry of Special duties Director special duties Governors office Director Administration & General service Governors office, Director planning research & statistics Governors office.[2] He was later appointed as Permanent Secretary public service in office of the head of Service. He is the current Head of Service to the Yobe State government.[3]
