Muhammad Shahzad is a Pakistani politician who is the current Chairman (Neighborhood Council 74 Gulberg 1) Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government, Elections and Rural Development, in office since 15 March 2022. He has been a Member of the Capital Metropolitan Government of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan since 19 December 2021.
Early life
Muhammad Shahzad was born in Gulabad No2 Nouthia Jadeed Charkhana Road Peshawar of District Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to a well-known politician. Muhammad Shahzad received his early education at Government College Peshawar and graduated from University of Peshawar.
Political career
Muhammad Shahzad first entered politics in 2016 and was elected as Youth President Union Council 34 Nouthia Peshawar.
On 15 June 2020, he was elected into the Pakistan Youth Council (PTI) as a Senior Vice President Peshawar Region, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa [1].
On July 2021, he was elected into the Insaf Youth wing (PTI) as a Youth Vice President Peshawar City. Serial No : 4 [2].
Official’s Election
On 19 December 2021, in the Local Government election, he was elected as a Chairman (Neighborhood Council 74 Gulberg1) Local Government Peshawar and won the office by a large margin, also being elected as a Member of the Capital Metropolitan Government of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
