MultiLing – Center for Multilingualism in Society across the Lifespan is a linguistic Center of Excellence[1] at the University of Oslo, and is under the Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies. MultiLing researches different themes within sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics, focusing on multilingualism, at the same time that the Center among other things offers master's courses, PhD courses, and various events directed towards the general, non-academic public.
Foundation[edit]
MultiLing was financed by the Research Council of Norway to start up as a Center of Excellence in the summer of 2013.[2]
