Khan was arrested in Mumbai on the complaint made by FDA to Versova Police Station[1][2] charged by them stating: “After testing his medicines in two laboratories, the chemical analysis officer’s report stated that one ingredient called Acorus Calamous was missing in the medicine. None of the ingredients used in the tonic were of standard quality.”[who?] Khan was later found not guilty of all charges in the case, as the Bombay Court concluded that no valid reasons for police complaints as none of complainants could prove in the court that they had taken the medicine and could not benefit from it or that they had been cheated.
