Murzuq Mubashir Channa

Marzuq Mubashir Channa alias Marzuq Hashim Channa, known as the Marzuq-e-Awal, was the first Chief of the Mainland Channa Dynasty of Kandhkot.[1] He founded Sindh Sunh Magazine in 1811. of his state which was founded by his father. His Magazine included Literature, Sports and Politics of the present day Sindh. His son, Marzuq Sher Muhammad Channa waged a 'Sindh Azad Aahy' in Sindh against the East India Company after the British victory at the Battle of Hyderabad on February 1843, which caused Hyderabad falling under British rule. Later, his magazine was banned due to conflicts from strong opposition parties.[2]
