MyCorporation.com is an online business document filing service that provides entity formation and business maintenance services for small business customers in the US and Canada. The company is a small – midsized company currently employing approximately 55 employees,[1] and is currently headquartered in Calabasas, California.[2]

MyCorporation does not provide legal advice as part of its service offering, and instead encourages customers to consult with legal counsel before forming a business.

Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Agoura Hills, California MyCorporation.com was one of the first privately held companies[3] to offer online incorporation packages targeted toward small- and mid-sized businesses as well as to legal and accounting professionals whose clients are starting a new business.

In November of 2005, MyCorporation.com was acquired by Intuit for $20 million from the original founders, Philip and Nellie Akalp.[4] Intuit maintained control of MyCorporation for approximately 4 years.[5]

Deborah Sweeney, an attorney who transitioned into a general manager position for Intuit’s MyCorporation division,[5] acquired the company from intuit in 2009 following a series of divestitures. Deborah is the current CEO of MyCorporation.com.[6][dead link]

MyCorporation helps customers to form a corporation or limited liability company file a trademark or copyright registration, file a DBA, and appoint registered agents. The company also provides business maintenance services often required to keep a business in good standing, including annual reports, foreign qualifications, and business licenses.[6][dead link]

In 2011, MyCorporation announced the company had partnered with former National Football League (NFL) quarterback and founder of GoSmallBiz Fran Tarkenton to launch Corporation.com. Corporation.com offered services to entrepreneurs including business incorporation and LLC formation, building a website, and business consultations.

In 2012, MyCorporation launched MyCorp Vault, a cloud-based Document management system that allows customers to store business related documents digitally for their records.

In 2018 MyCorporation launched MyCorporation Digital Services,[6][dead link] a suite of services that allow businesses to monitor their online reputation, website performance, online listings, analytics and social media accounts.
