MyQ is a firm developing and selling print management software for multi-functional printers (MFP). The privately-held firm is based in the Czech Republic.[1] [2] [3]

    History[edit]

MyQ began as a software development team within Janus, distributor for KYOCERA printers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Spun out from Janus in 1999, MyQ had shared management with Janus for several years. The first MyQ product was Kyocera Net Manager (KNM) print management software for KYOCERA printers.[4] [5] [6]

    Products[edit]

The main MyQ product is the MyQ print management solution for Multi-Functional Printers.[1] It enables copying, faxing, payment kiosks, pull printing, scanning workflows, secure printing, and other tasks. This software is also white-labeled and sold as the KYOCERA print management solution and as aQrate in the DACH markets. [7]

    Supported Devices[edit]

The MyQ print management solution can be used with multifunctional printers from most major manufacturers.[1] It is designed for use with printer fleets, regardless of whether they are from a single manufacturer or a mixed fleet.
