My Favorite Season (Chinese: 最想念的季節; pinyin: Zuì Xiǎng Niàn de Jì Jíe) is a 1985 Taiwanese romantic comedy film directed by Chen Kun-hou.[2] The script is based on a story by Chu Tʽien-wen. It was restored by the Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute in 2022. Lead actress Sylvia Chang has said that of the films she has worked on, My Favorite Season was one of her favorites.[3]
Plot[edit]
Liou Hiang-mei became pregnant with a married man and needs to find someone to marry for social cover. She finds Bi Bao-liang, who eventually agrees to her terms of a one-year marriage which they agree beforehand will end in a divorce.
