MYFLYRIGHT is a German Legal technology company specializing in legal support for airline passengers affected by delayed or cancelled flights, denied boarding, delayed or lost baggage, as well as issues with ticket refund.

History[edit]

MYFLYRIGHT was founded in 2016 in Hamburg by Igor Maas and Djavad Ali, who are the managing directors of the company to date. The company has three offices - the head office in Hamburg and branch offices in Prague, Czech Republic and in Zaporizhia, Ukraine.[1][2][3]

MYFLYRIGHT currently operates in Germany, the United Kingdom, Romania, Austria and Switzerland, in accordance with EU Regulation 261/2004, Montreal Convention and the German Civil Code (§649 S. BGB).

In February 2017, the company’s website was launched in English and German. Customers can check by using the website whether they are entitled to compensation in a specific case. MYFLYRIGHT has developed an AI-based system that is able to check multiple cases with maximum accuracy in a short period of time.

The company provides compensation to its customers in the amount of up to 600 euros (minus the commission).[4][5]

MYFLYRIGHT offers two forms of claiming compensation: claim enforcement and immediate payout. For the former, a fee of 25% plus 19% VAT is applied and for immediate payout, a fee of 35% + 19% VAT is charged.[6][7]
