NBA Europe Live Tour
The NBA Europe Live Tour was a series of annual basketball exhibition tours that featured teams from the NBA and teams from Europe's top professional leagues on European soil. It would take place during the NBA's pre-season in September or October and lasted from 2007 until 2010.
Most of the European teams were playing in the ULEB-initiated EuroLeague and Europe’s 2nd-tier level EuroCup. The games of the NBA Europe Live Tour were played by NBA rules.
The EuroLeague American Tour continued a tradition of friendly competition between NBA and EuroLeague teams that dates back to 1978, when Maccabi Tel Aviv played the Washington Bullets in Tel Aviv, Israel. Combined with the NBA Global Games, that also regularly present clashes between EuroLeague and NBA squads.
