NDR Medical Technology was founded in 2015 and developed the patented Automated Needle Targeting system(ANT) that can facilitate safe and accurate needle punctures to the organs such as lungs, kidney, pancreas and spine.

The company raised SGD $8 million in a Series A round in July 2020 from Microport Scientific Corporation, SGInnovate and Kava Ventures.[1] NDR has obtained CE certification in Europe and filed for FDA approval for the ANT system. NDR’s ANT-X system has been successfully tested with Nagoya City University Graduate School of Medicine in Japan and other Southeast Asian countries.[2] In September 2021, NDR established a partnership with CGBIO, a regenerative medicine company in South Korea, to conduct clinical trials with prominent doctors in South Korea to expand ANT-X system’s usage in broader areas requiring percutaneous needle placement such as urology, orthopedics and neurosurgery.[3]

NDR has won the MedTech Innovator Award as part of the Asia Pacific Competition in 2019. The company is paving its way for the first AI-empowered interventional robotics, aiming to benefit a larger number of surgeons and patients with innovative yet affordable technology.[4]
