NEXT Education Copenhagen (danish: NEXT Uddannelse København), also called NEXT, is the largest system of gymnasiums and vocational schools in Denmark with around 7,000 students across 12 campuses in the Greater Copenhagen area.

The school is currently directed by Ole Heinager.[1]

Programs[edit]

The schools offer all four standard Danish upper-secondary programs: htx, hhx, stx, and hf. Over 40 vocational programs are also offered in addition to eux programs, post graduation courses, and an optional 10th grade.[2][3]

History[edit]

NEXT was established in 2016 by the merger of Copenhagen Technical College and CPH West.[4] By pooling resources, the merger aimed to offer the full range of educational opportunities to youth in the Copenhagen area close to where they lived and adapted to each individual.[5]

Locations[edit]

NEXT's main office is located at Sukkertoppen Gymnasium though the system currently has twelve locations across Greater Copenhagen.[6]
