NGC 2990 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Sextans. It was discovered on 29 December, 1786, by William Herschel.[3]
Supernova
SN 2022aduz (type II, mag.18.7) was observed in NGC 2990. It was discovered on 22 December 2022.[4]
