Nicky Summer is an UHNW interior designer, luxury brand launch event organiser, online publisher, lifestyle presenter, former advertising model and 007 girl. Nicky gained her experience in design working alongside a number of the world’s most notable names in property, interiors, shipping, media, film and luxury hospitality.

Nicky Summer and her team have refurbished and decorated over 50 luxury properties in the prime central London areas of Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Notting Hill, Belgravia, Kensington, South Kensington and Chelsea, plus residences in the South Of France, California and Italy including (but not exclusive to) the following:

Eaton Square [17], Belgravia: Appointed by The Grosvenor Estate, Nicky Summer and her team were responsible for the interior design, furnishing and styling of properties located at 54d Eaton Square, 15a Eaton Square, 15c Eaton Square, Apartment L at 70 Eaton Square, Apartment M at 70 Eaton Square, 39d Eaton Square.

Notting Hill [18]: Nicky Summer decorated a contemporary duplex property located at 5 Lansdowne Road in the London district of Notting Hill designed by architect John Pawson [19] which was purchased with all furnishings included by a well known High Court judge and his wife. Nicky furnished a family style Victorian townhouse located at 18 Lansdowne Crescent in Notting Hill W11 that was leased at full asking price on the day of completion.

Albion Riverside, SW11 [20] London: Nicky and her team completed full installations and furnishing of a 3 bed apartment (A54) in Albion Riverside, Battersea, designed by Foster and Partners [1].[21] on behalf of a private investor client of HSBC [22]. Nicky and her team interior designed a 2 bed apartment (C66) in Albion Riverside on behalf of a private client.

Mayfair [23]: Nicky and her team designed and decorated all but one of the four apartments, including two duplexes, at the listed property 130 Park Lane [24], Mayfair, London. Nicky designed the interior of the first floor lateral apartment at 5 Grosvenor Square, Mayfair on behalf of a client of Sotheby's International Realty and furnished a two bedroom apartment at 10 Duke Mansions, Duke Street.

Knightsbridge [25]: Nicky and her team full decorated a lateral apartment at 19 Trevor Square, SW3. Nicky fully outfitted and furnished a mews house located at 10 Ennismore Mews, SW7 on behalf of a Hong Kong based client. Nicky and her team furnished and decorated the listed house located at Old Barrack House, Old Barrack Yard, SW3, on behalf of a private client based in Dubai. Nicky and her team fully furnished a terraced house at 7 Trevor Street, SW7, which was sold at over the asking price with all contents included prior to the completion of the project. Nicky oversaw the refurbishment of 40 Cadogan Square and implemented the interior design and furnishing of the duplex property which was leased at full asking price within one week of completion.

St James’s [26]: Nicky fully decorated and furnished a newly refurbished listed townhouse directly in St James's Place, St James's, London, SW1 on behalf of Wigmore Estates. The property was sold by Savills [27] within 10 days of completion.

Kensington W8, W14 and SW7 [28]: Nicky and her team were responsible for the interior decor of 47 The Phillimores and 65 The Phillimores, W8. Both properties immediately sold through Hamptons International. Nicky Summer fully designed and furnished the interior of the mansion at 88 Cornwall Gardens, SW7, which was immediately leased by Knight Frank [29] on the day of completion. Nicky and her team fully refurbished and furnished the first floor duplex lateral apartment at 55 Onslow Gardens, SW7, for a private client. Nicky oversaw the refurbishment and furnishing of three apartments in Oakwood Court, Holland Park on behalf of St Luke's Investments [30] which were all leased within 10 days of completion. Nicky's company completely refurbished the duplex penthouse in Rosary Gardens, SW7, on behalf of a member of the Hagland Norwegian shipping family [31]. Nicky furnished the interior of a red brick mansion located at 15 Collingham Gardens, SW7, on behalf of Irish businessman, Sean Quinn, and his family.

Chelsea: [32]: Nicky and her team furnished a terraced apartment at 47 Royal Avenue, SW3.

Barnes: [33]: Nicky and her team furnished the Penthouse apartment at Charles Harrod Court in Barnes, SW13 on behalf of Harrods Estates [34].

Fulham: Nicky and her team designed the interior of a family home located at 23 Chipstead Street, London SW6 on behalf of a boutique property developer. The property was sold on the first viewing prior to installation being completed [35].

Windsor: Nicky oversaw the refurbishment and designed the new installations and furnishings of a lateral apartment at Swan Court, Datchet, Windsor [36][37] on behalf of St Luke's Investments which was leased at over the expected asking price within two weeks of completion.

Wansford: Nicky designed and installed the family style show house property overlooking the lake at the luxury development Water’s Edge [38], Wansford, Cambridgeshire. The property was immediately sold at over the asking price.

San Francisco: Nicky designed and provided installations, furnishings and décor for the 47th floor apartment located at One Rincon Hill [39] adjacent to the Financial District and The Embarcadero in San Francisco.

OWN LABEL PRODUCTS & LIFESTYLE COLLECTION:

In 2000, Nicky Summer launched her own brand of designer furnishings and luxury home accessories from her lifestyle boutique located at 97 Old Brompton Road [41], South Kensington [42], London, SW7. LAUNCH EVENTS

M/V SAVARONA LAUNCH EVENT, ISTANBUL:

Nicky Summer’s company was responsible for the British contingent of VIP guests who attended the three-day event in Istanbul to re-launch the former presidential vessel of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the 136 metre super-yacht, MV 'Savarona' [45]. The 2,000 guests at the Çırağan Palace [46] included the Prime Minister of Turkey; the President of Turkey; Randle Siddeley [47], 4th Baron Kenilworth; Hon Christopher Gilmour; the British media; the international style press and VIP guests from around the world.

PROPERTY LAUNCH EVENTS:

Nicky organised special events to launch the penthouse apartments of almost all the recently built property developments lining the Thames in central London, including all blocks in St George’s Wharf, Putney Wharf and Riverside Quarter on behalf of St George Plc [48] and the developer clients of realtors Savills [49] and Hamptons International [50]. Each of the events was cross branded with luxury names that include Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, HR Owen, Phillip Plein [51], Missoni, Azagury [52], Linda Cierach [53], Ritz Fine Jewellery available through the boutique at The Ritz Hotel, London [54] .

Nicky was appointed by founder architect Klas Nilsson and CEO John Hunter of Northacre plc [55] to organise all the events associated with the luxury residential development 552 King’s Road (Kings Chelsea), London. The project included the VIP guest list for the major launch event featuring a dinner produced by society caterers Mosimann’s and Champagne Krug, a private performance by ballerina Darcey Bussell OBE [56] and a fashion show by designer Amanda Wakeley OBE [57].

HOSPITALITY LAUNCHES & SOCIAL EVENTS:

Nicky organised and/or hosted dinners for luxury brands, VIP guests and European royalty during a three year period as Lifestyle Ambassador to Monte's Private Member's Club, 164 Sloane Street, Knightsbridge, the first outpost of superchef Alain Ducasse [58] outside of France, and where Pierre Schaedelin was executive chef, Yvette Saboua [59] was head sommelier and Denis Courtiade [60] managed the formal restaurant. Events included the Anniversary of Cartier [61], dinners on behalf of Remi Krug of Champagne Krug [62], Davidoff [63], Hunters & Frankau [64], The Young Presidents Organisation [65], conservationist Damian Aspinall [66], art gallery founder Tim Jeffries, philanthropist Kirsty Bertarelli [67], David Linley [68], Ed Victor [69], Nicholas Coleridge [70], astronaut Buzz Aldrin [71] , HRH King Constantine Of Greece [72] , Sir Trevor McDonald [73] , Caroline Stanbury [74], TATLER Magazine, rock star Tina Turner [75], singer Diana Ross [76], actor Danny DeVito [77], Moët & Chandon, journalist AA Gill [78], Sir David Tang [79], jeweler Laurence Graff [80], movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger [81]. Nicky launched ‘Club M’ on behalf of Anton Mosimann OBE [84] - the Swiss chef who catered the wedding of Prince Harry, Duke Of Sussex [85] and Meghan, Duchess Of Sussex [86] - with a VIP dinner for 100 guests in a luxury hotel on The Embankment, London, SW1. Guests included designer Bruce Oldfield [87], actor Nigel Havers [88], racing driver Sir Stirling Moss [89] and interior designer Nicholas Haslam [90].

CELEBRITY/GOVERNMENT INITIATIVE:

While working directly with Matthew Freud [91] as a consultant to Freud Communications [92], Nicky secured the participation of celebrities, including Sir Elton John [93], in a government-initiated 'Say No To Drugs' campaign. The press launch event, at which HRH Diana, Princess of Wales [94] spoke, was held at The Metropole Hotel, London.

SUPERCHEFS:

Nicky Summer has been responsible organising several launch events in association with Michelin starred chefs including Alain Ducasse [95], Jean-Christophe Novelli [96] , Marco Pierre White [97], Alexis Gauthier [98] and Ducasse protege Pierre Schaedelin [99], who went on to be appointed private chef to Martha Stewart [100]

VARIOUS LAUNCHES & CONSULTANCY PROJECTS:

Nicky worked with chef Antony Worrall Thompson [101] at his restaurant 190 Queen’s Gate, London, SW7.

Nicky consulted on the show of fashion designer Alexander McQueen in London [102].

Nicky organised an anniversary event for Profile Model Management [103] in Covent Garden, London WC2.

Nicky organised the anniversary event of leading interior designer Mary Fox Linton [104] during the opening month of Gordon Campbell Gray’s [105] luxury hotel One Aldwych [106], which Fox Linton Associates designed.

Nicky consulted on marketing for Rotch Property on South Quay Plaza [107] in the Docklands area of London.

Nicky organised the event to launch Hamptons International Barbados in the ballroom at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park [108], London.

Nicky designed and organised the ‘Diwali’ celebration event at highly acclaimed Indian restaurant ‘Chutney Mary’ [109] on behalf of Freud Communications [110].

Nicky represented Firmdale Hotels [111] private members ‘Fox Club’ located in Clarges Street, Mayfair, London for the initial three month launch period.

MODELLING & ACTING:

As a beauty and advertising model, Nicky has appeared in advertising campaigns for luxury brands including Lancôme [112] fragrances, L’Oreal Paris [113] hair products and royal jeweler Mappin & Webb [114].

Nicky, (using the stage name Nike Clark) acted as a James Bond girl in the film A View To A Kill with Sir Roger Moore, Christopher Walken, Tanya Roberts and Grace Jones appearing at premieres of the film in London, at the Cannes Film Festival, the Italian Film Festival at Taormina in Sicily, and presenting to the media and on stage in Lisbon, Portugal; Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan.[2]

Nicky has travelled extensively both on business and socially visiting 37 countries at least once and often on extended stays - as in the case of the south of France, Los Angeles, Bali, San Francisco and Istanbul.
