History
Early in the 1990s
NVT Phybridge is an amalgamation of two companies; NVT Inc. and Phybridge Inc. NVT (Network Video Technologies) was founded in 1990 by Dan Nitzan.[4][5]
NVT was based in Menlo Park, California, and would eventually expand to include offices in Latin America and Europe, with regional sales representation in Asia. As new technologies emerged and organizations moved to IP communication and security systems, NVT struggled to adapt.[6]
Strategic partnerships
NVT Phybridge partners with Avaya and is a strategic member of Avaya’s Loyalty2gether program. The PoLRE 24 and 48-port models are compliance tested with Avaya UC applications and are available for purchase with Avaya part numbers.[7][8]
NVT Phybridge is a Cisco Preferred Solution Partner. The PoLRE 24 and 48-port models are tested and compatible with Cisco UC and are available on the Cisco Global Price List.[9][10]
SaskTel, a Canadian Telecommunications Corporation owned by the provincial government of Saskatchewan, has standardized on the PoLRE solution as they modernize their customers to their next generation cloud-based communication offering. Panduit offers the NVT Phybridge FLEX Extender Kit through an OEM agreement.[11]
