Nachtschwestern is a German 10-part weekly television series, produced by Ufa Serial Drama, which first premiered on April 30, 2019 on RTL Television.
Plot[edit]
Nachtschwestern is set in the Emergency department of the fictive Hospital Klinikum Köln West (KKW) and is the story of two nurses, Ella (Ines Quermann) and Nora (Mimi Fiedler), who could not be more different. Every night they work side by side trying their best to help their patients at KKW. However, a great personal conflict divides them. Ward Manager Nora desperately wants to get rid of former best friend Ella, because she can not get over the fact that Ella stole her boyfriend 16 years ago. Ella, newly separated and a mother of three, sees things differently. She is a good nurse, loves her job and feels that they should be able to leave the past in the past after so many years, they are after all, a great team.
