Nagabhushana is an Indian actor working in Kannada film industry. He is also one of the co-founder of Karnataka Entertainment Board, an online Youtube channel, which produces online video content in Kannada language to depict socially relevant issues through satire. He has also acted and directed in many of the videos produced by Karnataka Entertainment Board[1].
Early Life[edit]
Nagabhushana was born in Tagarapura, a village near Kollegala region of Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka. He studied from 6th std to 12th std in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chamarajanagar. He was very fond of acting and interested in literature since his childhood.
He obtained a bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Technology from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore. During his stay in Mysore, he joined GPIER, an amateur theatre group founded by Rangayana artist Ramesh (popularly known as Mime Ramesh)[2].
He worked as Panchayat Development Officer for a brief period after finishing his graduation. He quit his job to pursue his passion towards acting.
Acting Career[edit]
Nagabhushana has acted in many Kannada movies and short films.
Along with his friends he started a Youtube channel, Karnataka Entertainment Board[3], in the year 2016 to convey socially relevant issue through humour. He has acted, directed and wrote scripts of many of the episodes published in the channel. One of the episode named Lucia Pawan has HFPS Disease, in which Pawan Kumar acted as a patient with social media addiction, became popular and received lot of appreciation[4].
