Najwa Shaaban (Arabic:نجوى شعبان) is an Egyptian writer, cultural editor and translator for the Middle East News Agency
Born in Damietta, Egypt, Najwa Shaaban holds a Bachelor of Media from Cairo University and has translated from English many political, psychological and artistic topics.[1][2][3]
In 1995, she published a collection of stories titled 'The Braids of Al-Teh' and a novel titled 'Al-Ghor' in 1998, this novel received the Award of Girls Clubs in Sharjah, as well as the State Encouragement Award for her novel titled 'Noa Al-Karam' in 2004, the plot of 'Noa Al-Karam' revolves around the city of Damietta, the birthplace of the writer, in the 16th century.
Najwa Shabaan was interested in fine arts and has carried out two researches in the United States of America.
