Amal Farah (Arabic: أمل فرح) is an Egyptian writer, and one of the most important children's writers in Egypt.[1] She won the UNESCO International Prize for Tolerance in Children's Books, for the book Huff Bluff in 2002, then the International Prize (EBE) for Excellence in Children's Books in the Field of Disability for the Fund's book in 2004, and the first Suzanne Mubarak Prize in Children's Literature twice. She is currently the deputy director editor of Mickey magazine in Egyptian edition of Renaissance Egypt and the chief editor of all Disney magazines in Egypt published by the same company.[2][3]
Farah has worked in journalism, children's journalism, and wrote for puppet theater as well as songs for children. She also participated in such works as the “Bakar series”, whose songs were written over six seasons of the series, and songs of the “Sesame World series” in the 2000 season.
