Natalia Vladimirovna Dvoretskaya (Russian: Наталья Владимировна Дворецкая, born August 25, 1984) is a Russian theater, movie and television actress, as well as a well-known television presenter, the author of several television programs and has worked as a journalist.
Biography[edit]
Dvoretskaya was born into a military family, in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk, near the Ural mountains. At a very young age her family moved to the Far East and then to Germany, beginning her international life. Dvoretskaya went to primary and secondary school in Wünsdorf, Germany and first began modelling when she was 17. In 2007, Saint-Petersburg radio broadcast Dvoretskaya's author radio show, Not Our Films, dedicated to art-house and indie films, which featured Woody Allen, Pedro Almodóvar, and Guy Ritchie.
Her first appearance as a movie actress was in Sophie Barthes' Cold Souls (2008). In 2012, Dvoretskaya graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. The same year, several movies starring Natalia were released: The Wanted, Vanka, and Neuter, Singular. In 2013, Dvoretskaya was a lead in Yasmin, a TV adventure melodrama series produced by Denis Evstigneev's Red Square. The series was broadcast by the First Channel with a high rating.
For three years, Dvoretskaya was a presenter and a director of the automotive television show, The Test Drive, on NTV (with about 100 episodes).[1] Filming for The Test Drive took place in Russia, France, Switzerland, and Germany under Natalia's direction.
Dvoretskaya's show for TVC Petersburg called The Professional Choice on career guidance and young people development was deemed a program of a significant social importance and was awarded prizes by the government of St. Petersburg.
In 2011, Dvoretskaya was appointed a presenter for The Lawyers television show on 7TV (currently Disney channel in Russia); she soon became one of the leading channel presenters. In 2011, Dvoretskaya was appointed a presenter for three-hour morning entertainment program, The New Morning on Semerka (Little Seven) channel.
In 2014, The Track of the Piranha thriller based on Bushkov's novel was released, with Dvoretskaya playing the lead role of the American Embassy attaché, Gene (Jen in the novel).
The same year, Dvoretskaya was featured in Nikita Vysotsky's The Safety based on Andrey Kivinov's novel, The Zone of Personal Safety.
In 2015, Dvoretskaya graduated from New York Film Academy. She currently lives in Moscow and New York.
