Natalie Claro (born October 5, 1999) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer whose music shows influences from several genres.[1] Claro's music has been noted to be a diverse concoction of alternative rock with a diverse blend of influences, ranging from Haley Williams and Zella Day to Twenty One Pilots or Queen.[2] Claro released her first single "Stumble" in January 2016. Followed by her second release "Baby Bug" in May 2016. "Mountains" released August 2016 and is listed as an Alternative Folk Song.[3] She has a sizable fan base on the east coast, and is working towards completing her album in 2016, to follow with a national tour.[4]

Early life[edit]

Claro was born in Long Beach, CA. Claro credits her middle school orchestra teacher for choosing her musical path as well as growing up in a household full of music.”[5] Starting at the young age of ten, Claro began writing full length songs.[6]

Career[edit]

Claro gained popularity in Tampa, Florida in 2015 when she won the Creative Loafing Best of The Bay Readers’ Poll pick in two categories in 2015 – Best Local Singer/Songwriter and Best Local Pop Act.[7][8] In January 2016, Claro released her first single, Stumble, along with a music video that hit 28,000 views in just a few months.[9][10][11] She has written and produced her own song, Baby Bug, released in May 2016,[12] and her third single, Mountains, in August 2016. [13]

Performance History[edit]

Natalie Claro performed in the Hard Rock Tampa Bay Acoustic Music Festival 2015 and 2016 becoming a Hard Rock Energy Brand Ambassador.[14] Claro began touring the east coast in 2016, playing shows at some most renowned venues—The Bitter End, Leftfield NYC, Hard Rock Tampa, Back Booth, The Orpheum to name some.[15]
