From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Natalie Newbold is an American musician and artist from East Brunswick, New Jersey. She is known for her work as a multi-instrumentalist in the alt-project Gazee, guitarist and singer of the rock-pop band Well Wisher, and as a touring musician for The Front Bottoms.

Music Career

Newbold began her music career playing drums and singing in the New Brunswick-based band dollys[1] from 2013 to 2017. In 2016 she founded Well Wisher as a side project for the writer’s more rock-centered songs and it became her primary focus after the breakup of dollys in 2017.[2] Well Wisher's debut album, This Is Fine, was released in 2018 on 6131 Records.[3] The album was written by Newbold and members Lucas Dalakian and Lynsey Vandenberg and explores themes of failed relationships and moving on.

Well Wisher’s second full-length album That Weight came out in 2022 on Egghunt Records.[4] Newbold, Dalakian, and Vandenberg were joined by drummer Matt Viani for this collection of songs. The record focused on familial trauma and addiction. The band toured nationally and had played notable festivals and tours like Adjacent Fest and Champagne Jam.

Newbold launched project Gazee in 2025 while focusing on writing, recording, and producing new music. Her first single Delete Me was released July 11, 2025.[5] At the heart of the project is introspective and heartfelt songwriting with a signature 90’s flair. The distinguished vocal prowess and poetic lyricism that drew fans has developed with a more sophisticated tone.

As a touring musician with The Front Bottoms[6] she plays bass and provides backup vocals. She has also sung on releases like Rose and Ann and on full-length albums like In Sickness & In Flames.

Artistry

In addition to her musical endeavors, Newbold is a poet, graphic artist, photographer, and videographer. She has created visual art and print designs for her own bands and other clients. Newbold has stated that she loves the process of learning and growing creatively and that art has helped her cope with anxiety and depression. [7]
