Nathan Still (born May 2nd, 1997) is an Australian film director, screenwriter and producer. He is best known for his short films, Cycles (2020, The Effigy (2021) and So, Thanks (2021)

Early life[edit]

Nathan was born in Hobart, Australia and lived there for 24 years. While living in Tasmania Nathan wrote, directed and produced three micro budget independent short films. Nathan then moved to Melbourne to pursue filmmaking as a professional career. Nathan would be creating no matter what medium it was, music production, video or graphic design he would consistently be learning as much as possible to improve the quality of his work.

Career[edit]

In 2020, Cycles, Nathan's first short film, which he wrote, produced, directed, and edited, was made available online on Youtube. Nathan then created The Effigy, which earned excellent online reviews. The year 2021 saw the debut of spoken dialogue in Nathan's most recent film, So, Thanks, starring Helena Pegram. This innovation led to numerous opportunities for Nathan as a director. Pre-production is now underway for Nathan's fourth short film, "The Mother & Acts of Endearment." Later this year, he wants to make this movie available to the public online. His most intricate and expensive film will be this one.
