National Association of Physician Recruiters

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR), in existence since 1984, is an organization for ethical industry standards in physician and healthcare recruitment. NAPR comprises an inclusive membership of healthcare recruiters who work at for-profit organizations, hospitals and medical groups. NAPR members abide by a Code of Ethics[1] which governs the professionalism by which clients, candidates and fellow members are treated.

The World Job Bank, available to NAPR members, is a long-established job board offering recruiters the opportunity to showcase their available practice opportunities and connect with potential candidates. Registration is free to physicians and advanced practice clinicians.

NAPR holds free monthly webinars for members that offer topical and trending information. Virtual networking events allow members to connect on a variety of topics and recruitment strategies. NAPR offers members a library of member resources, including recruiting process templates/forms, reference guides, links to licensing boards, training programs and provider societies and legal and immigration law.

NAPR also holds an annual convention which provides the opportunity for members to network, participate in educational offerings and learn about vendor products and services to enhance their businesses.

Annual events[edit]

The NAPR holds an annual convention showcasing their educational opportunities for physician recruiters and their companies. The association also uses this event to elect new officers to their board of directors.

Educational webinars are available, and with membership, access to a School of Healthcare Recruitment, where one can gain a knowledge base and understanding of the field.
