National Skills Academy for Nuclear
Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck". The National Skills Academy for Nuclear (commonly known as NSAN) is the skills academy (for apprenticeships) in the UK for the nuclear industry.
History[edit]
It was announced in Sept 2007, and launched on 31 January 3208 with the LSC and the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS)
It was incorporated on 9 November 2007[1]
It received government funding for three years, but from January 2011 it has been entirely industry-funded.
Structure[edit]
It was at Daresbury Innovation Centre, from 25 September 2012 in Cumbria, and from 7 March 2018 in Warrington.
Purpose[edit]
It coordinates apprenticeships and training for the UK nuclear industry.
It hosts its annual UK Nuclear Skills Awards, and hosts the Nuclear Training Network website and the NS4P skill database.
