National Skills University, Islamabad (NSU) نیشنل سکلز یونیورسٹی، آسلام آباد) is a public sector, skills specific education university founded by Federal Government of Pakistan.[1]

NSU is established to complete the agenda of skill full Pakistan.

History[edit]

The Federal government of Pakistan has decided to upgrade NISTE to Skill University. The Premises of this university are based on NTTTC which was estabed under ADB as education project for teachers training.

In 1997, NTTTC was converted with to NISTE to upgrade the training capabilities.

In 2010, the Federal Government decided to updated it to university status. In 2018, by the approval of act, the process of upgradation has started.

Not-for-Profit Status[edit]

NSU is a not-for-profit degree awarding institution by the Federal Government of Pakistan.

Campus[edit]

The main campus is based on 26 acrs in H-8/1 sector of Islamabad.

Academics[edit]

The academics activities will be started in spring 2021.
