NatureAtlas.org is a wiki allowing nature enthusiasts to share and find occurrences of plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms in geographic space. It was initially launched in 2008 as WikiPlantAtlas.org, a platform based on crowdsourcing wild or cultivated plant occurrence data. It has since been expanded to non-plant taxa and is employed in BioBlitzes, as a mapping tool for organism observations and specimen-collection projects in taxon-based courses, and as a repository for specimen data from the James C. Parks Herbarium.
