Naturist Education Foundation, Inc. (NEF) is a North American naturist organization incorporated in Virginia, United States.

NEF was formed as a charitable organization to inform and educate people about naturism in North America in 1991. It, along with the Naturist Action Committee (NAC), were established as separate entities associated with The Naturist Society, LLC (the publisher of the "N" Magazine). NEF recently published an article[1] on the 30 years of NEF (and NAC) which outlined how each organization began.
Over the years, the NEF has established projects like the NEF Research Library and Toni Egbert Law Library to create the world's largest collection of naturist research and legal articles. NEF also manages the collaborative efforts for World Naked Gardening Day each year.
Opinion Polls[edit]
Since 1983, the Naturist Education Foundation has commissioned public opinion surveys to gauge responses of US adults to questions about body acceptance, recreation, and personal freedoms. These polls have been published from 1983 (commissioned by The Naturist Society, LLC), 2000, 2006, and 2015. A new poll for 2021 has been commissioned and the results will be published shortly.
