Naum Koen (Russian: Наум Коен) is a Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist, founder and CEO of NY Group. He was born on June 28, 1981, in the Soviet Union.[1][2][3]
Businesses
NY 770 Group was founded in 2010 and it holds multiple companies under its umbrella. The work done by companies within this group is involved in different industries such as diamond trading, digital marketing, jewellery manufacturing and retail, security, business aviation, and interior décor. In addition, he organizes and invests in different projects designed to promote products and services its subsidiary companies offer. Some of the projects organized in the past include the world’s first amber stone mosque[4]. The mosque was presented in April 2017 in the hotel Burj al Arab, in Dubai. A recent project Naum Koen is working on is NY Trade Center Kyiv.[5][6]
Personal life
Naum Koen is married to Yevgeniya Koen, and they have four children: Daniel, Miryam, Sofya, and Sara. His wife is the founder and CEO of Jeni Coin, which is one of the jewellery companies within NY 770 Group holding, with boutiques in different countries, including Ukraine.[7][8]
Career
Naum Koen founded NY 770 Group in 2010, and since then, he has developed multiple companies in different industries, including business aviation, diamond trading, jewellery manufacturing, interior décor[9], information technology, and digital advertising. In his career, he has established business relationships with businessmen such as Cyrus S. Poonawalla[10][11] with whom he is developing the NY Trade Center Kyiv.[12][13][14][15] After the press conference, he met former Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma.
