Navied Mahdavian is an American cartoonist whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, Reader's Digest, Narrative Magazine, The Chronicle Review and more.[1] He lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Education
Mahdavian earned a B.A. from the University of Miami, and an M.A. in teaching from Stanford University.[2] He taught fifth grade at the Making Waves Academy in Richmond, California.[3]
Career
Mahdavian had his first cartoon published in The New Yorker in 2018. He curated "Not OK: Wild West Edition," a show of rejected New Yorker cartoons, in Mackay, Idaho.
