He is an active and passionate medical microbiologist participating in many initiatives for Tuberculosis Control and has immense contribution in the field of laboratory medicine. He is the founder member and governing council member of IPAQT (Initiative for Promoting Affordable and Quality TB Tests), a private sector initiative along with non-profit groups to facilitate the delivery of all WHO-endorsed TB tests available at affordable prices in the private sector. He represented the private sector in the RNTCP program of Govt of India to bridge the gap between the private and public sectors. He was invited by the US ambassador to India for discussions on a TB free India by 2025. He is on the advisory board of the Global coalition against TB. He is an active member of the ‘Expert Group on Tuberculosis Prevention and Control’ (National Forum on Tuberculosis). He has delivered many lectures as a guest on various forums on TB and research activities in areas such as diagnostics tools for malaria, vaccines etc. He has been recognised for his services and honored with the prestigious Dr._B._C._Roy_Award|Dr. B.C. Roy National Award by the President of India in the year 2009. He was awarded “Vishisht Chikitsa Ratan Award” on the occasion of Doctor’s Day 1st July 2014 for outstanding contribution in the field of Medicine and Service of mankind.

Dr Dangs Lab  was started in 1983 with Dr. Manju Dang, MD, and Prof (Dr) Navin Dang, MD as the 2 partners (presentation attached ). It has evolved to be known as one of the best quality based diagnostic labs in the country. Known for its advanced and high quality diagnostic services, Dr Dangs Lab is a standalone state-of-the-art facility  built over an area of approximately 20,000 square feet  and performs a wide array of tests in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Haematology including Flow cytometry, Molecular biology, Immunology, Histopathology and Cytology. Dr Dangs Lab works on the four pillars of unmatched quality, top technology, trained professionals and personalized care. Dr Dangs lab is one of the four labs recognized by the Government of India to do H1N1 testing during the Swine Flu epidemic of 2009-2011.
