Nazif Grazhdani
Nazif Grazhdani (Nazif Grazhdani) was an Albanian revolutionary who participated in the struggle for independence.
Life
Grazhdani was born in the village of Grazhdan. Along with Elez Isufi, Sufa Jelili, Sadulla Strazimiri, and Dine Maqellara, he was a leader of the Albanian uprising in Debar in 1909–1912. During the Albanian uprising of 1912 Grazhdani, along with Sherif Langu, Eqrem çami, Shukri Bey, Dine Maqellara, and the captains Haki Libohova, Ismail Haki Korca, Ismail Pekini, and Ibrahim Gyakova, formed a rebel squad and on June 23, 1912, went to Malesia. He then participated in the ensuing fight against the Serbian occupation of Debar.[1]
After the creation of Albania, during the government of Fan Noli following the June Revolution in 1924, Grazhdani was the mayor of Berat. When Mahmud Golemi was the mayor of Debar, Grazhdani was a member of the municipal council. In 1930, he was elected as a member of the municipal council. He was again elected to the municipal council on October 15, 1932.[2]
He died in 1937.
