Nea Rey Mendez, better known as Nea Rey (born 08 May 2004) is a Dominican singer and songwriter.
Music career[edit]
Nea took acting classes for 3 years at her middle school San Benito Abad in San Pedro De Macoris. She never got the chance to graduate school but meanwhile in session, Rey had many opportunity at singing contests and received many awards for the gift she had in her voice. [1] As a songwriter Nea has been using her stage name, Nea Rey, and is pursuing to write songs to people soon.
On 22 December 2019, Nea Rey had a previous record as a singer, songwriter but with another name. With the song hit "Isaiah" she was contacted by a music licensor to feature her single in the HBO series Betty. On April 29, 2021, Nea Rey released her debut single "Me - Single".
Nea Rey was born in Dominican Republic in the city of San Pedro De Macoris, at age 4 she started to get raised in New York City. Mendez is a Transgender woman.
