Necrovore
Necrovore was an American extreme metal band active during the late 1980s. The band had only released a single 4-song demo, entitled Divus de Mortuus, which gained notoriety and a cult following in heavy metal tape trading circles.[1][2] The band also had their song Slaughtered Remains re-released on the New Renaissance Records compilation Satan's Revenge Pt. 2 (1988).[3][4]
The band was formed in San Antonio, Texas, in 1986.[5][6] The original lineup of Necrovore included Jon DePlachett on vocals and guitar, Ross Stone on bass, Scott Humphrey on guitar, and Scott Staffney on drums.[7]

- Ross Stone - Bass (1986-1988) (Real name is Clayton Ross Stone). Following his exodus from the band, Ross joined the United States Air Force. He spent 24 years in the military, retiring as a MSgt. At the time of his retirement, he was the enlisted commandant of the joint service, Mental Health School House Joint Base San Antonio, Ft Sam Houston.
