Negros in America is a 2017 American Avant-garde film written, produced, and directed by Jason Innocent. The 15-minute film consists of footage of famous blacks discussing issues that blacks face in America post world war two.
Synopsis[edit]
Negros in America is a 15-minute film, which shows iconic speeches of African-American figures who had a great passion for the Africa American and changed the political, social, cultural, and aesthetic priorities of the Colored People in America.[1] [2]
Production[edit]
Inspired by the Brooklyn Museum special exhibitions entitled “We Wanted a Revolution: Black Radical Women. The exhibition examined the political, social, cultural, and aesthetic priorities of women of color during the emergence of second-wave feminism. [3]
