Neil Roy (Bengali: নীল রায় born 1983 a.k.a. Abhirup Roy) is an Indian film actor, director, and entrepreneur.[1][2] Roy is popularly known as the founder and director of the prominent fashion and talent brand FFACE.[3][4] Roy is also a corporate banker by profession.

Personal life[edit]

Neil completed his Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) from St Xavier's College Kolkata and joined HSBC Bank as a banker in the year 2006.[5] He is the only son of producer director Prabir Roy and Somasree Roy, General Manager of a MNC.

Career[edit]

Roy has acted in many television series, TVC's and print ads as a child artist. His directorial debut short film is Khwaishein - The Desires of the Lost which won a lot accolades and was screened in the 25th International Kolkata Film Festival.[6] He also played a pivotal role in the feature film Kaal Madhumas.[7] He is the founder director of the talent brand, FFACE which produces the celebrity driven annual fashion calendar.[8] Roy produced multiple platforms[9] under the banner FFACE to promote fresh talents aspiring to be a part of the entertainment industry.[10][11] In the year 2017, Roy received the award for his contribution to entertainment talent management services by Indywood at the Ramoji Film City Hyderabad.[12]
