Elishama was the 58th Samaritan High Priest according to Samaritan Genealogical Records. He was succeeded by his son Baba Rabba
According to Moses Gaster, in his 1909 article The Chain of Samaritan High Priests: A Synchronistic Synopsis: Published for the First Time, published a slightly different order which he translated from two codices written by the High Priests he is the 53rd high priest[1] Despite having a substantial historical record compared to other Samaritan high priests, his son is not listed in this source as his successor[1]
