Netta D'souza is an Indian Politician belonging to the Indian National Congress (INC).  In August 2021, she was appointed as acting President of All India Mahila Congress (AIMC), the women's wing of INC.[1] [2]

Career[edit]

Netta D'souza has risen through the ranks at INC. Over the past two decades, she has been assigned many integral responsibilities and served many diverse designations in the Congress party. She began her political journey with the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) where she also contributed as a national training head. She was a National Secretary of Indian Youth Congress (IYC).[3] She was also appointed as a screening committee member for organisational elections [4]and was a member of the Madhya Pradesh screening panel constituted for poll-bound states before the Lok Sabha Election 2019 [5]. She has served as a state incharge and president of Pradesh Mahila Congress for multiple states and has also served as General Secretary at the All India Mahila Congress (AIMC) for many years. [6] As a representative of Indian women, Netta D'souza has actively championed and advocated for women's empowerment and continues to raise their issues or fight for their rights at the regional and national level. Personal Life[edit]

Netta D'souza holds a B.A. (Hons) and M.A. in political science from Maharaja Sayajirao University in Vadodara. She entered politics at a very young age and has dedicated her life to public service.
