Neurofeedback Training Company is a privately held neurofeedback services company based out of New York City, with satellite offices in Los Angeles and Denver. The company offers neurofeedback services for in-office sessions as well as national rentals of neurofeedback home kits.

As of 2018, the company has three locations.

In 2011 the company, originally called Neurofeedback NY, grew out of a private psychotherapy practice, Maitri LMHC, PLLC [1], that offered neurofeedback brain training as one of the mental health service provided.

In 2013, a second location for rentals was opened in Denver, Colorado. In 2015, the company grew adding another office in Los Angeles to provide in-office sessions and to manage the West Coast rentals. In 2015, the company changed its name and branding to reflect it as a national company. It was renamed the Neurofeedback Training Company and in 2018 formally registered as an LLC under that name.

As of 2018, the company has four employees.

Product[edit]

The company uses the Professional NeurOptimal System[2] made by Zengar Institute[3] for in-office sessions and for its home rentals.

NeurOptimal was made popular in the “biohacker” community, when it was discovered and promoted by lifestyle guru Dave Asprey, founder of the Bulletproof Coffee and Bulletproof Biohacking Conference 4.[4]

In 2018 the device was acknowledged[5] by the Food and Drug Administration to be a General Wellness Product.

Research[edit]

The NeurOptimal system was used in a research study to show the positive impact of neurofeedback training post chemotherapy treatment to help with the cognitive impairment that can be a side effect of References[6].
