Production was held by various producers such as CEDES, along with executive production by John Anthony and Alex Murphy.

Background

John Anthony first teased the album on his Instagram story on April 17, 2024 by posting a countdown video. Never Ending Story was officially announced the next day on April 18, 2024, along with the artwork and track list reveal. The project was released through John Anthony’s label Villainous Records and was only his second studio album since The Therapy LP (2019) that was not parented my his former management agency Chaos Music Group, whom saw both sides part ways in 2023. The album’s only single “Turn Loose” released on March 29, along with the music video.
