New American Funding
New American Funding (NAF) is an American mortgage lender headquartered in Tustin, California. NAF has grown into one of the largest privately-owned direct mortgage lenders in the country.[1] It is the largest Latina-owned private mortgage company in the nation.[2]
History
The company was founded in 2003 by Patty Arvielo, a Latina entrepreneur, and her husband Rick Arvielo.[1]
NAF has expanded to more than 280 branches across the country and employs 4,800 people. More than half of NAF's employees are women, and about 40% are from underrepresented communities.[3]
As of August 2025, NAF serves all 50 states and Puerto Rico.[4]
In July 2025, NAF launched the "Hell Yeah You're Buying a Home" campaign to empower first-time homebuyers.[5]
