New Dawn Transit LLC was an operator of school bus services in New York City. The company was based in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bergen Beach.
History
In 2014, New Dawn Transit, along with many other school bus providers, took over the contracts and bought the buses that Atlantic Express had serviced following its bankruptcy filing. In 2017, New Dawn Transit was purchased by National Express, after complaints of pollution and noise from its bus fleet.[1]
In 2020, the assets and fleet of New Dawn Transit were taken over by Total Transportation Corporation.[2]
