New Wave Feminists

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The New Wave Feminists is an pro-life feminist organization. They are based in Texas. Controversially, it was removed from sponsoring the 2016 Women's March on Washington, because of the fact that it is an anti-abortion organization. The group's feminism has also been called into question, as some feminists believe abortion to be part of women's reproductive rights.[1][2][3][4] The group believes that abortion makes sex an activity without responsibility.[5]

History and leadership[edit]

The organization was founded in 2007 by Destiny Herndon-De La Rosa.[6] Herndon-De La Rosa is also the president of the organization.[7] The vice president of the New Wave Feminists is Kristen Hatten.[8]
