New York Artist Series includes a record label, film company, management, gallery and events company. The New York Artist Series was created in January 2002 by Joe DiRosa, and is the first of the Artist Series companies which include the New York Artist Series, L.A. Artist Series, and the Miami Artist Series.[citation needed]
In 2008, the company tried to rent the former premises of The Limelight nightclub in New York City.[2][1] In 2014 it made an unsuccessful offer to buy Fuse TV for $350 million.[3]
