History

NewtonX was founded in 2016 by Sascha Eder and Germain Chastel, who met during their time at McKinsey & Co.

The company raised a $3 million seed round co-led by Third Prime Capital and Xfund in 2018, followed by a series A which raised $12m led by New York City-based hedge fund, Two Sigma.

In 2021, the company unveiled the NewtonX Knowledge Graph, which uses AI and machine learning to create a very specific search that finds the most relevant business professionals for a particular query. The Graph allows companies to find and engage hard-to-find, high-quality professionals. 

Services

NewtonX is entirely focused on primary B2B research. Services are centered on quantitative surveys, qualitative 1:1 consultations, online communities and end-to-end consulting advisory services. The company also offers the NewtonX Q3 Formula, a methodology unique to NewtonX due to its 100% verification of respondents, that is a mix of qualitative and quantitative methodologies applied to the same population.

Through its Knowledge Graph, the company is able to scan over 1.1 billion professionals across 140 industries to answer any business question.
