Nexia International is a global network of independent consulting and auditing firms. As of June 2021, Nexia has 752 offices in over 128 countries.[6] It was founded in 1971 by the merging of Appel Dixon & Associates (USA) and Spicer & Pegler (UK), which were locally dominant players in London and New York.[3] Since then, Nexia has continued to grow through acquisitions, such as through the merger with SC International in 2007.[7] With continued growth, both organically and through acquisitions, Nexia is consistency in the top 10 global accounting networks as of 2020.[8]
