Early life and career
Nezar was born in Azilal, Morocco, and currently resides in Larache.[1]
In 2021, Nezar expanded his audience through appearances on the LEMBAWE9 rap podcast[2], a platform spotlighting the northern Moroccan rap scene. That year, he released three singles, which helped him develop a dedicated fan base. His first EP, included five tracks that performed well across streaming platforms.
Nezar’s career continued to rise in 2024 when he won the Jamshow competition[3][4][5], broadcast by Morocco’s national TV channel, 2M[6]. His victory, which came with a $25,000 prize[7], significantly boosted his popularity. During this period, his tracks "L7ob" and "Halbab a Jawad" gained substantial traction, trending on multiple platforms.
