Nicholas Morse (born May 15, 1986) is an American politician who was the 2016 Republican candidate for Congress in Colorado's 2nd Congressional District.[1] He sought office in the 115th session of the United States House of Representatives.

In 2014, Nicholas Morse joined the Larimer County Republican party as a volunteer & began his political career in Fort Collins, CO. He held various roles before becoming Treasurer for the party & served in that role until he ran for office in 2016.

In November 2015, Nicholas Morse entered the 2016 Congressional race for Colorado's 2nd Congressional District.

Early life[edit]

Morse's father traveled around the United States quite frequently early in his life. Morse lived in various states before the age of 18, including: Florida, Mississippi, Maryland, Louisiana, Nebraska, Colorado & Oklahoma.

Morse graduated from Sand Creek High School in Colorado Springs in 2004 & attended his first three years of college at Oklahoma Panhandle State University. He transferred to Colorado State University in 2007 & earned his bachelor's degree in 2009. He also earned his MBA in 2015 from Grand Canyon University.

Personal life[edit]

His mother, Esther Bergling is a real estate agent in Colorado Springs and his father, Brian Morse is a small business owner & honorably discharged 20 year US Navy Veteran.

Nicholas his wife Andrea and daughter Emilia live in Larimer county.
