Mixed martial arts career[edit]

Early career and The Ultimate Fighter[edit]

Rossborough made his professional debut in 2004. Prior to making his Strikeforce debut, he compiled a 20–14 record, fighting for various promotions. He also appeared on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rampage vs. Team Forrest as a Middleweight. He lost in the entry round to Jesse Taylor via submission due to a rear-naked choke in the first round.

Strikeforce[edit]

On September 23, 2011, Rossborough made his Strikeforce debut when he faced Lorenz Larkin in the main event at Strikeforce Challengers: Larkin vs. Rossborough, filling in for an injured Virgil Zwicker.[1] He lost the fight via unanimous decision.[2]

King of the Cage[edit]

Rossborough challenged Tony Lopez for his KOTC heavyweight championship on October 25, 2012, at KOTC: Gun Show. He lost the fight via split decision.[3]

Rossborough faced Tony Lopez in a rematch for his KOTC heavyweight championship at KOTC: Devastation on April 11, 2013. He won the fight via unanimous decision to become the KOTC heavyweight champion.[4]

In his first defense, Rossborough faced Cody East on June 22, 2013, at KOTC: East vs. West. He lost the fight via unanimous decision.[5]

Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki[edit]

Rossborough was expected to face Karol Bedorf at KSW 26: Materla vs. Silva III on March 22, 2014.[6] However, Bedorf pulled out of the fight due to injury. Rossborough instead faced Marcin Różalski. He lost the fight via TKO due to punches in the second round.[7]

Bellator MMA[edit]

Rossborough made his Bellator debut against former professional boxer Raphael Butler on May 9, 2014, at Bellator 119.[8] The fight ended in a majority draw. Butler was docked one point due to an illegal headbutt in the first round as Rossborough had his back.[9]

In his second fight for the promotion, Rossborough faced Bellator 2013 summer series heavyweight tournament finalist Ryan Martinez at Bellator 126 on September 26, 2014.[10] The fight was stopped between rounds one and two after Martinez tore his left bicep, resulting in a TKO win for Rossborough.[11]
