Nicky Shane
Nicky Shane is a harmonica player, artist, and stand-up comic who resides in Studio City, CA. He established and received the first Guinness World Record for The Fastest Harmonica Player.[1]
Wikipedia Nicky Shane, born Mitchell Pieracci in Palo Alto, California, is a professional stand-up comic, painter, musician, songwriter, and screenwriter. He grew up very poor in San Jose, California. His mother, Toni Pieracci Seifert, was a single parent with occasional marriages. Nicky moved often while living throughout California and the USA, starting in San Jose, Saratoga, Los Gatos, San Diego, Santa Cruz, then Louisville, KY, Wilmington, NC, San Antonio, TX, Florida, Chicago, Ill, then back to California in Los Alamos, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.
During his career, Nicky Shane published several books including "Endorphin Man and Little Sara Tonin" and "How To get started in the Stand Up Comedy Business." Always writing and creating, he wrote ten CDs of original songs (mostly Rock, Blues, Jazz), many as The Nicky Shane Band. As a visual artist, Nicky painted hundreds of different watercolor (pen and ink) series and some pastels including The 2012 Surreal Harmonica Calendar Series, Voluptuous Mermaids, Stand-up Comedy Series, Rock and Blues Series, European Pastels, Skateboard Series, Looking Out The Window Series, Bridge Series, Nose2Noze Series, Floral Series and Crystal Portal Series. He's also painted many individual ideas while sharing social comment.
On September 8, 2005, Nicky established the first Guinness World Records wind instrument speed record, becoming "Fastest Harmonica Player."[1]
In January 2014, Nicky completed taping his "Nicky 'The Buzzard' Shane Comedy Special" in Louisville, KY, a 45-minute stand-up comedy show performed at the 486-seat Eifler Theatre.
